Supervisor Encouragement

Your internship supervisor encourages you to apply for the scholarship based on your outstanding performance and potential.

Submission of Internship Summary

Submit a 3-page summary of your internship assignment by February 18th 2025 to ferdinandlegatet@sallinggroup.com.

Initial Review by Scholarship Committee

A scholarship committee reviews submissions and selects the top 6-8 candidates for the next round.

Pitch to Senior Management

Selected students present their work to Salling Group’s CEO Anders Hagh & top management, who will nominate the top three.

Scholarship Award Ceremony

The top three winners are awarded the Ferdinand Scholarship in a ceremony honoring their achievements.

The Ferdinand Scholarship is exclusively available to students enrolled in the Commercial and Retail Management (CRM) program at Aarhus BSS. Only CRM students can apply for this scholarship, as it is specifically designed to support and recognize talent within this program.

Yes, you can still apply even if your internship project is confidential. All members of the scholarship committee have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), ensuring that any sensitive information you share will be handled with strict confidentiality.

To apply, you must first receive encouragement from your internship supervisor based on your performance. Once encouraged, you should submit a 3-page summary of your internship report by the specified deadline. The scholarship committee will review submissions and select the top candidates to proceed.

The scholarship committee evaluates applicants based on their ability to create value for their internship company, demonstrate strong business understanding, show customer focus, and exhibit an innovative mindset. The top three students who meet these criteria will be awarded the Ferdinand Scholarship.
